On Tuesday night, the railway minister tweeted that 200 special trains would be run across the country from June 1. These trains will run on time. He further said that you can also buy waiting tickets on these trains. However, you will not get any Tatkal or Premium Tatkal tickets. You can book this train from the official website of IRCTC. However, it will be informed in a few days when the booking will start.

According to a senior official of the Ministry of Railways, the decision to run the Mail Express train has been taken after the workers and the capital started running special trains. There is no provision for immediate and premium tickets for these trains but there is a waiting list system, which can be used online. However, I would like to inform you that it is only possible to buy confirmed tickets for Sramik and Rajdhani Special Express.

According to a circular issued by the Railway Board, you will be able to buy 20 tickets for First AC or Executive Class waiting on the Mail Express Special Train where it will be possible to buy 100 waiting tickets in the first row AC compartment. There will be 200 waiting tickets for Slipper Class and these tickets will be deducted from the online website. The route of these trains will be announced in a few days.
