Xiaomi joins hands with Hotstar to launch First Day First Show for Mi TV subscribers

Currently, everyone is watching movies and web series on their mobiles and their smart TVs at home due to the corona virus. The study found that in addition to cable and DTH, people are flocking to OTT platforms. Disney + Hostar is one of them. The recently released Sushant Singh Rajput starrer 'Dil Bechara' took the platform by storm. Even after this movie, movies like Lootcase, Bhuj are waiting to be released on this platform. This time the Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi joined hands with this platform. From now on, all the content of Disney + Hotstar can be seen in the previous part on Mi TV. Let's learn more about this.

Xiaomi has come up with another attractive offer for Mi TV users. In the wake of an agreement with Disney + Hotstar, Xiaomi announced on Friday that Mi TV users will be able to watch 6 Bollywood movies on the Disney + Hotstar multiplex platform 2 hours before their release. This means that Mi TV users will get the opportunity to watch First Day First Show.

This new offer is going to start from the movie 'Lootcase' starring Kunal Khemu. The movie was released on July 31. The movie was released for everyone else at 6:30 pm, but Mi TV users can watch this movie from 5:30 pm. Mi TV users will be allowed to watch later movies in the same way 2 hours earlier.

There are several other movies – Laxmmi Bomb, Bhuj: The Pride of India, Sadak 2. All these films will be featured on the patch wall of MI TV's home screen. As a result, you can enjoy these movies in advance.

In this regard, Ishwar Nilkanthan, India category lead of Mi TV, said that by bringing this new feature, Xiaomi wants to give their users the pleasure of First Day First Show. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. It is even thought that Xiaomi may shut down the service once the Corona virus situation is over. The main reason for this is the opening of the cinema hall. After the Corona crisis is over, all Bollywood movies will be released in cinemas. The concerned quarters think that this service of OTT platform will be stopped after that.
