The new iPhone series was launched in the world market earlier this week. This iPhone 12 series has been in practice since its launch. Recently, Brazilian telecom regulator Anatel released a certificate stating that the two devices in the series, the iPhone 12 Mini and the iPhone 12, have some information about their battery capacity. Apple did not disclose the battery capacity of any of their devices at the launch event. In the testimonial, Anatel said that the iPhone 12 Pro model of this series will be manufactured at Foxconn's factory in Brazil and India. Apple has already produced a number of smartphones, including the iPhone 11, in factories in both countries. Usually the new iPhone for Asia is made in China. However, this time the American tech giant is changing that rule.
According to a report on a website called Technoblog, the 2,126 mAh battery-powered iPhone 12 Mini has been cleared by Anatel. As a result, this new phone will have a longer battery backup than the iPhone SE (2020). The battery capacity of iPhone SE (2020) is 1,621 mAh battery. However, the iPhone 12 device has a 2,615 mAh battery, which is normally less powerful than the iPhone 11's 3,110 mAh battery. The battery capacity of the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max is still unknown.
Apple did not specify the battery capacity of its new iPhone models. However, the company said on its official website that the iPhone 12 Mini can provide up to 15 hours of video playback time on a single charge. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro provide 16 hours of video playback time, just like the iPhone 11.
As mentioned earlier, the iPhone 12 Pro device will be made at the Foxconn factory in Brazil and India. However, an English daily has claimed that Wistron will make the iPhone 12 Pro device locally in India in 2021. Apple started production of iPhone 11 in the country in July this year. In addition to the iPhone 11, the company has manufactured iPhone XR, iPhone 7, iPhone 6s, and original iPhone SE devices at its factory in India.
